The international Sheltie Competition 2015 is run under the FCI Agility Rules
FRIDAY– QAULIFICATION FOR THE INDIVIDUAL FINAL (GRAND FINAL)
The qualification for the individual final (Grand Final on Sunday) is run in the FCI height categories Small and Medium (Large combinations will participate in Medium and the jump height will be set to Large)
In this individual qualification an agility round and a jumping round is run in each height category and each grade. Both rounds are scored separately for faults and time for all competitors, as well a combination score (agility + jumping together) is kept .
- The best top 5 % from each grade and each run (agility or jumping) will qualify for the Grand Final on Sunday.
- The best 5% from each grade of the combination score of the agility and the jumping will qualify for the Grand Final on Sunday.
- If a team qualifies itself multiple times the next ranking team from the combination score will advance to the Grand Final.
SATURDAY – TEAM FINAL
A Team must consists of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 handler and dog combinations. A Team can consist of dogs from different FCI grades, but only one dog can participate only for one Team.
Every team member will run an Agility and a Jumping course.
The 3 best runs of each Team will count towards the Team result for both rounds
(same rules as FCI World Championship Teams)
SUNDAY – INDIVIDUAL FINAL
On Sundaymorning a bonus final will be run. Every combination which did not qualify for the grand final can run in this Bonus Final.
The Bonus Final will be a jumping round. The Winner of each height and each grade will qualify for the Grand Final
On Sunday afternoon the individual GRAND FINAL will be run.
The GRAND FINAL will be an Agility round. The winner of the grand Final (in each height and each grade) may call him- or herself “International Agility Champion 2015”
